mirex posted on 2005-05-09 13:17:03 Hi I. You have to flip some switch in 3dsMax, I think it was Material Property - Vertex colour to On. It is ok that there is only 1 matereial, because vertex materials are stored elsewhere.
As for FFX - i don't have any file specs or data, and no time to find them out. But if you could find them on net I could add them to Biturn. i posted on 2005-05-18 07:01:02 nah, i tried to enabled vertex color (as told by someone in qhimm's forum) but it still black (when i change the background to white, it show black shaped cloud)
any more suggestion ? i use 3DS MAX 5. thanks!

Shame you haven't put up the source, but with the obfuscation in the model format I imagine it would be a bastard to read; even with the nicest formatting and commenting in the world. If you do ever decided to slap it on the net or take it down, do fling me an email though.. It would be a shame for this knowledge to be lost to the world.
