Subject: biturn: milkshape ascii animation and bones

(2009-05-20 23:56:25) :

(2004-11-24 16:25:06) Iku: Okay, I have sent you some md3 loading code in C++, also the skeleton(bones&joints) don't export from battle models from what I can see - although I have yet to try the new biturn (am using 0.85)

(2004-11-23 14:29:36) mirex: thanks ;) Oh, it should be exporting bones to Milkshape now, doesn't it ? Do you have some detailed info on those Q3 informations ? maybe you could write me a e-mail to explain it into more deatail ... its mirex at centrum.sk

(2004-11-15 18:26:54) Iku: No, Quake3 Files use quaternations and a rotation point specified by a small triangle to which the 3 model parts (head. body, legs) and the weapon are attatched. Any Details on the FF7 Bones exporting into Milkshape format? Just wondered, as Biturn exports the FF7 models but doesn't export the bones. Great Program by the way

(2004-06-23 09:19:11) mirex: so i tried it and ... probably i will be able to write skeleton to milkshape files (will be in next version of biturn), but i cannot make the animations ... they're too messy. Btw Q3 files dont have skelet at all.

(2004-05-22 03:48:19) c2: check this last link below, there is a simple cylinder that bend. This simple example will maybe help you to understand how it works...

(2004-05-18 11:15:50) mirex: thanks for links, im having problems understanding bone rotation info, it will need some time

(2004-04-20 05:53:46) helloworld: so do you think you will be able to do it?

(2004-04-12 17:55:36) cmoibenlepro: also thanks for your answer! I really appreciate it! :) i searched for a long time before I found your tool and it is very useful!

(2004-04-12 17:48:18) cmoibenlepro: yes and also quake3

(2004-04-12 15:09:58) mirex: i'll try to do it, i will report here. Btw, what kind of anims do you want to export to milkshape ? FF7 ?

(2004-04-11 15:44:27) helloworld: do you think that you could add animation export to the milkshape ascii format? I would need it also

(2004-04-11 07:24:14) cmoibenlepro: you can find the source of a loader of milkshape ascii files (.txt) with bones and animation here: http://home.planet.nl/~monstrous/dl/skelanim.zip so maybe it can help you! This feature would be useful for me... Thanks for you great work! your tool is the best converter of all! :)
